Mercedes 7G-Tronic (722.9) VGS4-NAG2 TCU cloning service
Mercedes stuck in limp mode, harsh or no gear changes, "transmission fault" on the dash, or a failed 7G-Tronic mechatronic control unit (TCU / conductor plate)? We clone your original VGS4-NAG2 unit's data, including the FBS4 / DAS4 vehicle security data, onto a matching replacement unit so it works on your car without dealer coding.
Unit covered
- Mercedes 7G-Tronic 722.9 mechatronic control unit, VGS4-NAG2 (FBS4 / DAS4 generation)
- Part numbers include A0009017100 and A0002703500
- There are older VGS2 and VGS3 units on 7G-Tronic cars too, which are different. Check the label on your unit says VGS4-NAG2 and message us the number before posting.
Mercedes models fitted with the 7G-Tronic 722.9
- C-Class W204, E-Class W212 and C207, CLS C218

- ML W164 and W166, GL X166, GLK X204, G-Class W463

The 7G-Tronic was fitted from about 2003 until the 9G-Tronic replaced it from 2014. VGS4 units are found on the later cars, so confirm from the label on your unit.
