Warranty and Guarantee | The Vehicle Check

Every repair, cloning and bench testing service completed by The Vehicle Check carries a warranty. We stand behind our work. If a repaired or cloned unit develops a fault related to our workmanship within the warranty period, we will resolve it at no additional cost to you.

Our Warranty — What is Covered

The Vehicle Check warranty covers all repairs and cloning work carried out by our technicians. If a fault directly related to our repair or cloning service occurs within the warranty period, we will assess the unit and carry out any necessary remedial work free of charge. Return postage costs for warranty claims within the UK are covered by The Vehicle Check.

What Is Covered

  • Faults directly caused by our repair workmanship
  • Component failures related to parts we replaced
  • Cloning data errors or transfer failures
  • Any fault present at the time of return that was not disclosed

What Is Not Covered

  • New faults unrelated to our repair
  • Physical damage caused after return
  • Water or liquid damage occurring after return
  • Faults caused by incorrect fitment
  • Faults caused by underlying vehicle wiring issues

Cloning Services 12 months from date of return
Bench Testing Report valid at time of testing
Crash Data Reset Confirmed at time of service

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact us as soon as the fault occurs. Call 0203 489 2610 or email info@thevehiclecheck.co.uk. Describe the fault and provide your original job reference number.

Our technical team will assess the fault and confirm whether it falls within the warranty scope. We may ask for fault codes or a description of the symptoms to assist with the assessment.

If the fault is confirmed as a warranty issue we will ask you to return the unit to us. Package and post as described in our packaging guide.

We carry out the remedial work and return the unit to you at no charge. You will receive confirmation once the work is complete and your unit is on its way back.

Important — Warranty Conditions

To maintain your warranty please ensure the unit is fitted correctly following return and that any underlying vehicle faults such as wiring issues, blown fuses or sensor failures are addressed before refitting the repaired unit. Fitting a repaired unit into a vehicle with an unresolved underlying fault that causes repeat failure will void the warranty on the repeat failure.
