About Our Service
We specialise in mechatronic repair and cloning, clutch actuator repair and cloning, Ford ACM amplifier repair, BCM and BSI cloning, ECU cloning, TCM cloning, Honda Kia and Hyundai ECU repair, bench testing for all modules and crash data reset. All services are available by nationwide mail-in postal service or by drop off in person at our Enfield office.
We are based at Office 13, 25 Mollison Avenue, Enfield, EN3 7LW in North London. We accept units by post from anywhere in the UK and internationally, or by in-person drop off at our Enfield office during business hours.
No. Our Enfield office operates as a reception drop off service only. Units are booked in on arrival and returned once the repair or service is complete. We do not offer while you wait or same day repair services.
Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Sunday: Closed. Please call ahead on 0203 489 2610 before travelling to confirm availability.
Sending Your Unit
Yes — always contact us before sending. We will confirm your unit is within our service range, advise on the best repair or cloning route and provide your job reference number. This ensures your unit is booked in immediately on arrival without delay.
Yes. Thousands of automotive electronics units are posted to specialists across the UK every day without issue. We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery or any reputable tracked and insured courier. Follow our packaging guide to ensure your unit is protected in transit.
Include a sheet of paper with your full name, contact phone number, vehicle make model and registration, job reference number and a brief description of the fault. Do not write only on the outside of the box as outer packaging can be damaged in transit.
Yes. We regularly receive units from the Republic of Ireland, mainland Europe and beyond. Contact us before sending from outside the UK and we will advise on the best courier and any customs documentation requirements.
Turnaround and Returns
Most repairs and cloning jobs are completed within 3 to 5 working days of receiving your unit. We will confirm an estimated turnaround when we acknowledge receipt. For urgent jobs contact us before sending and we will advise on current turnaround times.
We return all units via Royal Mail Special Delivery or equivalent tracked service. Your unit will be fully packaged and protected. You will receive a tracking number once dispatched.
If your unit is beyond repair we will contact you before proceeding and advise your options — which may include cloning onto a replacement unit. We never proceed with additional work or charges without your authorisation. If no repair or cloning is possible you will only be charged return postage.
Pricing and Payment
For most services we do not require upfront payment before receiving your unit. We confirm the repair or cloning route and advise on cost before proceeding. Payment is arranged once the work is confirmed and authorised by you.
Contact us with your unit details — make, model, year, part number and fault description — and we will provide a quote. For some services pricing is available directly on our website product pages.
Technical Support
All registered users of The Vehicle Check website receive free live chat access to our technical team. Whether you need help diagnosing a fault, guidance on removing a unit, advice on whether your unit is repairable or help with refitting after repair — our technicians are available directly via the website chat.
Registration is free. Simply create an account on The Vehicle Check website and you will immediately have access to live chat technical support. No subscription, no payment required.
Trade and Business Accounts
Yes — we actively welcome trade partnerships with independent garages, bodyshops, transmission specialists, salvage yards and fleet operators. We act as your specialist electronics partner, handling all module repair and cloning work on your behalf. Volume pricing and white label arrangements are available.
