Tourneo ACM Faults
The Tourneo Connect uses a smaller ACM unit than the larger Tourneo Custom, but both are prone to capacitor failure and output transistor degradation over time. The Tourneo Custom shares much of its ACM architecture with the Transit Custom and develops the same fault patterns — often triggered by battery-related events.
Symptoms include complete audio silence from all speakers, normal display operation, and no improvement when changing audio source or adjusting volume.
Component-Level Repair
