Ford BCM Body Control Module Cloning — Mail-In UK

Ford BCM Body Control Module Cloning — Nationwide Mail-In Service
Your Ford's body control module is the silent organiser behind everything — central locking, interior lighting, wipers, windows, the lot. When it fails or needs replacing, the last thing you want is a main dealer quoting you an eye-watering sum and a week without your car. Post it to us instead. We'll clone it, test it, and have it back at your door — usually within three to five working days — without you leaving the house.
What Does Ford BCM Cloning Actually Involve?
BCM cloning copies all the unique data from your original or faulty module — immobiliser codes, key pairing information, vehicle configuration settings — and writes it precisely onto a replacement unit. The result is a module that your Ford treats as its own from the moment you plug it in. No relearning procedure, no lockout, no drama. This is fundamentally different from a dealer-supplied blank module, which typically requires expensive dealer-level programming, often costing more than the part itself.
At The Vehicle Check, we've been working on automotive electronics for well over a decade, repairing and cloning modules across hundreds of Ford models and countless other European and Asian vehicles. Our engineers use professional-grade cloning and programming equipment — not off-the-shelf consumer tools — and every Ford BCM leaves us tested against known-good reference data before it's packed and posted back to you.

Why Does Mail-In Beat Going to a Ford Dealer?
Bluntly: cost, convenience and turnaround time. A main dealer will typically supply a brand-new blank BCM, charge you for the part, then bill further for the programming session on their diagnostic system — plus you'll need a courtesy car or a taxi while yours sits in their workshop queue. That can easily run into several hundred pounds before you've blinked.
With our mail-in cloning service:
- You post us just the module — your car stays on your driveway
- We clone your data precisely — no blank programming fees
- Return delivery is free and fully tracked
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 working days
- Our pricing is transparent — no hidden diagnostic charges

How Do I Package My Ford BCM Safely for Posting?
Packaging an electronic module correctly takes about five minutes and protects it from transit damage. Here's exactly what we recommend:
- Wrap the module in bubble wrap — at least two layers all the way around, paying attention to any exposed connectors.
- Place it in a rigid cardboard box — not a padded envelope. A small to medium box with at least 3–4 cm of packing material (crumpled newspaper, foam, or additional bubble wrap) surrounding the module on all sides.
- Seal the box securely with strong parcel tape — two strips across every seam.
- Include a note inside with your name, phone number, vehicle registration, and a brief description of the fault or what you need us to do.
- Use a tracked service — Royal Mail Tracked 48 or a courier such as DPD or Evri works well. Keep your tracking number until the module is back with you.
Send your parcel to: Office 13, 25 Mollison Avenue, Enfield, EN3 7LW. If you'd like to confirm we've received it or check progress, call us on 0203 489 2610.
What Happens When Your BCM Arrives With Us?
The moment your module lands in our workshop, it's logged and assessed by one of our engineers — not a general technician, but someone who works on automotive electronics specifically. We read the existing data, identify the module variant, and carry out the cloning procedure using equipment calibrated for Ford's BCM architecture. Before anything goes back in the post, we run a full output check to confirm all functions are correctly mapped. You'll receive a message to let you know it's on its way, along with your return tracking information.
If we encounter anything unexpected — say, the module has secondary fault data or a hardware issue that cloning alone won't resolve — we'll ring you before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice.
Is This Related to ECU or ABS Module Work?
Yes — the BCM sits within the same family of vehicle control modules we work on every day. If your Ford has multiple electronic faults, or if you suspect the BCM failure may have caused secondary issues, it's worth knowing we also handle ECU repair and cloning and ABS module repair — all by the same mail-in process. Sometimes a single diagnostic conversation can save you two separate postal trips.
