  3. Wrap in plastic first. Seal the entire unit in a heavy-duty ziplock bag or cling film to contain any remaining fluid residue.
  4. Pack in a rigid outer box. Place the wrapped unit in a cardboard box at least 50mm larger than the unit on all sides. Fill every gap with bubble wrap, foam, or scrunched packing paper — the unit must not move when the box is shaken.
  5. Label clearly and include your details. Write your name, return address, phone number, and vehicle registration on a note inside the box as well as on the outside label. Include a brief description of the fault — it helps us prioritise and diagnose faster.
  6. Use a tracked postal service. We recommend Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 or a courier such as DPD or ParcelForce. Keep your tracking reference until the unit is back with you.
