- This is a transmission component, and correctly completing the fit requires the correct basic settings, adaptations and teach-in procedure for your specific gearbox to be carried out afterwards for it to operate correctly.
- Some clutch actuator systems also require clutch bleeding using a professional diagnostic tool as part of a correct installation — this isn't always obvious, so please check what your specific model needs.
- Please keep proof the installation was completed correctly — a paid invoice from a garage or workshop — as this will be requested if you ever need to make a warranty claim.
- Many owners with the right diagnostic equipment and experience fit these themselves — that's completely fine. If you're fitting it yourself, keep your own dated records (confirmation the adaptations/teach-in and any required bleeding were completed) as equivalent proof for a claim.
